This was worked from a Simon Bisley painted page in the Batman meets Judge Dredd Graphic Novel 'Judgement on Gotham'.
I've always loved this particular image of Batman and so decided to do a pencil sketch of it. After reading the recently released 'Batman Noel' graphic novel with it's Christmas setting and this being that time of year I felt inspired to add in a wintery background.
